Thangam Mount Litera Zee School (TMLZS) is a unique educational institution that aims to nurture global ideas through a blend of global standards and rich Indian values. Spread over a 7-acre rolling campus, the school is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of city life and boasts excellent state-of-the-art infrastructure. This renovation project, designed by the School designs studio, includes new amenities such as a library, labs, gathering spaces for children, sports facilities, and a kindergarten block.The new library is designed as a vibrant and interactive space for students to explore their love of reading and learning.
It features an open floor plan, comfortable seating areas with a extensive collection of books, magazines, and newspapers, as well as a section for e-books, digital resources, and a reading corner for younger children. The irregular curved shelves create a fun reading space and evoke a connection to nature.
The proposed Kindergarten Block for the Mount Litera Zee School is designed to be an engaging and interactive space that encourages exploration and play among children aged two to six.
The learning center includes activity areas and learning pods, which are interconnected and free-flowing to encourage movement and exploration.
The design of the building also incorporates elements like a pergola and outdoor activity areas to encourage a connection with the outdoors and create a holistic learning environment.
The play structures and reconfigurable equipment enhance kinesthetic intelligence and encourage children to use their imagination and creativity. Overall, the design of the Kindergarten Block seems focused on creating an immersive and interactive learning environment that supports the developmental needs of young children.
