RAVILLA K.R.A VIDHYASHRAM

A large 30 year old school located in a 10-acre campus in Kovilpatti, Tamil Nadu, Ravilla K.R.A Vidyashram run by Mrs. Mythreyi Priya Arun have been known for their great quality of education over the years. Mrs. Mythreyi Priya Arun reached out renovate the existing school infrastructure that can accommodate Matriculation and CBSE curriculum, The School Designs Studio mapped the building as per students needs.

With 2000 children passing by its portals, the structure is currently in the Phase 1 of extensive interior redesign and segregation based on the curriculum. The campus affords a large space for extracurricular and sports facilities, a sport centre, skating rink, landscaped seating area, large football field, athletic tracks, volleyball courts, badminton and tennis courts, cricket field and a stadium seating area.

The building’s traditional structure has been expanded to accommodate separate toilet blocks at every level, separately for the two genders across all floors. Students thus save time in traveling across campus to access the facilities. The preschool has a separate set of play zones and activity areas. With the school allowing for experimentation with different teaching methodologies, the play areas are designed to achieve developmental and growth milestones.
